Abel Tasman Belleview endeavours to be environmentally friendly as much as possible, using solar water heating, heat pumps, natural detergents, recycling or composting for growing our own organic vegetables.
Astonishing retreat, overlooking Sandy Bay in Marahau and at the start of the many walks offered by Abel Tasman National Park . Day after day you'll be delighted by the details of this place, the fruit on the grounds, the relaxing nature of the place, the generosity of Jean Francois. The cottage itself is cosy and well equipped, with lots of space and clear views of the stars through the skylights. Full kitchen, wifi and outside tables to take in the sunrise over breakfast. The cottage is self-contained, but on the property is more accommodation so you can choose to socialise if you wish. This is the perfect place to holiday, hike, create or simply relax. We will 100% return on our next trip.
Superb setting, view, and house - bigger than expected, every amenity you require (including fresh grapes from the vine), and a very kind host. Don't hesitate to stay here to enjoy the Abel Tasman and surrounds, or just to relax in the garden and get away from it all!
We had a great visit to Abel Tasman and the surrounding area using this as our home base. It is a very special piece of paradise with an amazing view and a great place to stay!! We will definitely be back.
This is a perfect cottage in a quiet and scenic spot. Jean Francois is a gracious host and made great suggestions for activities in the area. We would be happy to stay again. Highly recommended!
One caveat—the stairs to the loft are narrow and, although they were no problem for us, they could be for some guests.
The loft is wonderful, with windows that allow great star gazing.
Ideal gateway to Abel Tasman day trips and a wonderful cottage for relaxing with tropical garden and bay view.
Super clean, v. charming, secluded and romantic - amazing view. Narrow staircase to upper floor, but man is the view - and breeze - worth it! Also, the beds and bedding are delicious - a soft cocoon of cotton. And Jean-Francois, the host, is wonderful, kind, and helpful. Highly recommend booking this location!
If you are visiting Abel Tasman - look no further, this is the play to stay! The pictures don't do it justice. The house has a magnificent view, combined with a garden full of figs, passionfruit, grapes and lemons. Wonderful scents and atmosphere. Jean-Francois is super friendly and helpful, making our stay an even better experience. The cottage that we stayed in is very practically planned, cozy and have all amenities that you need. Perfect for a family of 4-6 people. We would gladly stay here again. It's a small paradise on it's own and you feel like you are staying in the beautiful Abel Tasman national park.
Beautiful location, on the doorstep to the National Park. Jean-Francois was so welcoming and keen to help make our stay as comfortable as possible. We really enjoyed eating out in the garden, with views out to the stunning water and beaches. The passion fruit and grapes straight of the vines were delicious!
